Fire Extinguisher Mounting--'08 GT500

So I'm looking at doing a little track time in the car. One safety feature (of many) I'm looking at is a fire extinquisher. Where is a good location to mount this without damaging the car or it's value? I've considered installing a mounting bracket where the rear seat would be and just removing the seat during track days. Any suggestions? I would assume that the extinguisher has to be within reach of a seated driver...correct?
