My 2007 Shelby GT 4.6 has a weird habit, and I wonder if there's an adjustment I can make. Before the ignition will allow the car to turn over, I have to REALLY press the clutch peddle the WHOLE WAY down ( and then some! ) to the floor. It just doesn't seem right that it should need pressed down THAT hard to the floor ( what seems like INTO the floor ) to engage the ignition and get it to turn over.. Does the clutch peddle itself adjust somehow? Or maybe something else to remedy this? I mean its stock with 11K miles, and has done this since I've owned it, 3K miles ago. Just seems to me that if this is what is considered "normal", then the design doesn't seem correct. Maybe they make them that way for " safety " these days, and some say its the " starters" they use now... or maybe its just that the carpet is a lot thicker than it used to be! Sure isn't like my old '66 or '67 289's thats for sure. Anyway, any suggestions are appreciated- thanx
