Now I'm thinking the design for the '69 Shelby might have come from that. But the timing could be off since it made its debut in 1970 after the '69 Shelby was already on sale. Usually a concept car precedes the production car by a couple of years. I think the grille surround and nose is pretty much '69 Shelby. It was designed in '67. These drawings might have had a designer's name but the website showing them might have wiped it out to plug their site. Interesting the name Milano because this was about the time Ford was on the prowl for an Italian car, and in 1970made the deal with DeTomaso to import the Pantera for 1971.So there was a period of time when Italian names were everywhere at Ford.
Now I see the designer's name but my eyesight is too feeble to read it: could it be Chuck McHose who did the '67 Shelby?
