Shelby Steel Wheel ...... ID help please

    K29 9 (valve stem hole) 6 60

    Can anyone varify this?
    from what I found out:
    K = Kelsey Hayes
    2= Canada plant
    9= Year
    9= Month
    (valve stem hole)
    6= Day
    Then there is a space and the number 60? ......... not sure what that is ....... wheel width

    On the barrel (only seen when tire is removed):
    Kelsey Canada D15x6 JJ (logo) 9

    any info is greatly appreciated

    69/70 Shelby's came standard with a deluxe wheel. There were no steel wheel and hubcaps in 69/70. Bob

    I could only venture a guess as a wheel like this is not part of my field of interest normally. A guess would be it may be from a T bird which used 15 inch steel wheels. They are not of any significant importance. Bob

    wanted 1968 shelby wheels NOS Hub caps

    I have purchased a 1968 Shelby gt 500 with 10 spokes but require the original styled wheels/hub caps in NOS or Mint condition.

    Chris, just so you know finding a NOS set or even a Mint condition used set is a extremely tall order. A restored set for the hubcaps goes for 1500.00 - 2,000.00. A NOS set will be substantially more then that if you can even find any. Just thought i would post this yardstick so if you are fortunate to find ether you will know if below market ,market value , above market. The best of luck with your search. Bob

    I failed to mention, that these steel wheels have a small chrysler logo on the barrell after the stamping "Kelsey Canada", which can only be seen when the tire is off the wheel.

    aparently not factory FORD Kelsey Hayes wheels, but Chrysler
