Hello All, I'm new to the forum. Does anyone know where I can find a color chart for a 68' GT500KR Sterring wheel to restore the wheel to the correct woodgrain?

Hello and welcome to the Forum. You just have to hit a few Shows and check out the 1968 Shelby's and Mustangs with the Delux Interiors. Try MCA Concours Areas of the MCA Shows.

    Hello,

I am new to the Shelby Forums but glad to hear from and talk with any enthusiasts.

I was able to get my dream last year a new Shelby Terlingua Mustang. In fact, the very first customer Terlingua car ever sold! It was delivered to me at the 2008 Shelby Terlingua Bullrun event in Terlingua, TX which is also where I live - Terlingua Texas.

The Terlingua is a dream with some of the vitals below regarding my car. It a 375+ HP, SC'ed V6 with the best handling of any Shelby ever made by all accounts.

Donor bought May, 2007 then sent for modification - fully loaded, black, with black seats and parchment interior accents
57 miles on it when delivered to Quantum Performance on June 6th from the dealer for an upgrade to a Performance Package Terlingua - deposit sent same time
    Badged Septemer 19, 2008
Delivered September 25, 2008 at Lajitas for Terlingua event
    CSM 07 TRT 0401 - first Quantum Terlingua - first Production/customer Terlingua!
    Completed the 2008 Terlingua Bullrun!
Signed by Carroll Shelby (92808) and Bill Neale (92608) at the 2008 Terlingua event

Founding member of the Fear the Bunny club (Terlingua Mustang Appreciation farce)! Care to join or know more - just drop me an amail its free - the club is - just for fun.

This is a quote a member named Vern wrote - Vern if you object to me posting your info on the car I will remove it - just say so - but it is a good writeup so I posted it:

"I just got back from las vegas where i toured the factory and got under a terlingua v6 car with the optional paxton underhood while it was being serviced on a lift. I was actually rather surprised when i saw the car in person as in the photos i thought it looked a little too over the top. However, after viewing the car in person, i have to say that it is done very tastfully and just looks like a badass ride, plain and simple. The car truly much more attractive in person than in the photos.
I have got to say that i was truly impressed by the huge bang for your buck that you recieve with this car! For the price of a v6 car plus something in the high 14,000 to low 15,000 range, you recieve what i believe is a true road racer for the street! The car has much beefier suspension (obviously), a functional ram air hood, quarter window black outs, razor wheels, baer 6 piston brakes, a tasteful spoiler, guage pod, momo racing seats, custom shot throw shifter, custom hood pins, mesh grille, front facia, side scoops, sequential tail lights, engine start button, functional brake cooling ducts, running board heat shields, (my favorite) borla designed side exhaust (make a pretty mean roar), and of course the paxton which gives the car an astonishing 375+ hp (was told by amy bolyan herself that the car is close to a strong 400 hp)!
(oh yeah...plenty of 'drunken rabbits' all over the car)
THis car will eat any stock gt 500 for lunch on the road course and cost less than you pay for a stock shelby gt! (plus it will be far more scarce)
Shelby Autos says that they are marketing the car to the youth market, but i have to say that i am seriously considering pulling the trigger on this one if i can scrap some coin together.
    Just thought id share."
